Brad Dietz

| Brad enjoys playing bass and singing with
Blame it on Jane- trying to find that ideal Zen musical spot blending the rhythmic
foundation with the drums, and the chordal and melodic parts of the guitar, keyboard, sax
and vocals. He has a particular soft spot for singing bassists, often asking "What
would Paul McCartney or Sting do?" Not afraid to be uncool or eclectic, Brad can be
found listening to a whole range of music from classical to jazz to rock, pop and even
bits of country- a great background for the breadth of styles and sounds that Blame it on
Jane touches on in each one of their shows. |

| Brad's longest tenure with a band has been with Blame it on Jane and he distills the reason down to two equally important factors: good music, and good people. He also really enjoys that the band is creative enough to create and perform original music, but are also skilled enough to faithfully cover songs by other artists. Brad also enjoys the newest development with the band: pared-down acoustic shows. | |||
