Buzz Lerch
| Buzz started classical piano lessons at
age five and performed with the Coasters at age
fifteen. Early bands include the Original Fetish (comedic rock/parody) and Tangent (original jazz-rock fusion). A
native of Maryland, local gigs have included Blues Alley, the Cellar Door, the Birchmere,
State Theatre, Baltimore Civic Center and Ritchie Coliseum. He's played live on Voice of
America, WUSA TV, WPFW radio and in shows featuring Dexter Gordon, Joe Jackson, Jimmy McGriff, the Drifters and many others. Some
scoring/recording credits include Marriot Corporation and National
Public Radio.
